Trowel grade epoxy is the maximum concrete coating for thickness and endurance! For heavy-duty equipment workshops, industrial properties, chemical plants, and factories, trowel grade epoxies are best. They handle greater mass, corrosives, and traffic. With fatter epoxies comes added time for curing. Optimally, trowel grade epoxy is laid at temperatures of 70 degrees Fahrenheit, F or above. Below that, and the epoxy, with its clear coat, takes more time to cure. The usual curing time is 8 to 12 hours for each coat. The complete cure, when average work can begin again, is after seven days. Below 55 degrees Fahrenheit, F, trowel grade epoxies are best not tried.
