Concrete staining is very similar to wood staining, because although the stain lends its color to the surface, the underlying material also contributes to the look and appearance of the finished product. Every concrete slab absorbs the stain somewhat differently and has its own variations, based on its composition, how it was laid, and the age of the concrete. As a result, every concrete stain project is truthfully unique.
