The “Before” Problems
Before New Epoxy Coating
This garage featured an old parking curb that was bolted to the floor. As you can imagine, without a car in front of it, the curb was quite a tripping hazard. Also, water vapor was penetrating the concrete from the soil underneath. After removing the curb and prepping the concrete for an epoxy coating, we added an effective moisture barrier to prevent any further water damage. After additional preparation, the epoxy floor was added on top of this cured vapor barrier.
A Special-Order Purple Floor
The client specifically requested a floor featuring the color purple. While our standard palette of color flakes does not include purple, we are able to special order a wide variety of additional colors. Thereafter, we created a customized purple blend of color flakes to densely scatter over the epoxy base coat. As you can see, the result is very attractive and pleased the client very much.
